The WindMill philosophy has always included a strong commitment to the communities in which they operate. As merchants in the community, they have always felt that it was their civic and moral responsibility to help their neighbors in need. Although solicited by numerous groups and charities, the Levines have always tried to honor all solicitations in one form or another. However, as a group the Levines and the entire WindMill family have historically supported the special organizations listed below as charities that they support on a day to day basis. The WindMill family encourages your support and participation in any of these worthy organizations.

Support Our Troops! The WindMill has adopted the families of the 6th Motor Transport Battalion, a Marine Corps Reserve unit based in Red Bank that is serving in Iraq.  The WindMill has been sponsoring quarterly events to recognize the sacrifice that these families are making on behalf of all of us living safely in the US.  If you would like to volunteer at or donate to one of these events, please send e-mail.

The Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties
"Hunger Takes No Vacation"--The WindMill has long been a proud corporate sponsor of The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. The FoodBank works not only at feeding the needs of people but at training and developing the skills of the those less fortunate. In these unusual financial times, the FoodBank's needs along with the needs of our neighbors have grown. In support of these increased efforts, The WindMill has always had a "can do" attitude. Family & Children's Service
This organization, the oldest social services agency in Monmouth County, provides a vast array of services to its constituents. Among the services are the distribution of food and clothing, credit assistance and aid to local schools. Currently, the WindMill is the proud sponsor of a pilot reading program in Asbury Park.  Click here for more information about Family & Children's Service.

Area Running Clubs
The WindMill supports these local running clubs because they emphasize not only a healthy lifestyle but give back to the community as well:

 The New Jersey Road Runners Club (NJRRC)
The members of this local organization not only run for fun, they run to raise money for local charities! To support their efforts, The WindMill is a corporate sponsor of several of their events.

The Freehold Area Running Club (FARC)
These runners are also involved in community fundraising.

The Jersey Shore Running Club (JSRC)
Each of these JSRC events, sponsored by the WindMill, support local causes:  The Trick or Trot 5K, Saturday in the Park 5K, Sgt. Pat's 5K.
