Reach the Beach public access defibrillation program makes AEDs readily available
LONG BRANCH, NJ,
The Janet Fund’s newest initiative ‘Reach the Beach’ creates public access defibrillation programs at New Jersey beaches making Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) readily available to the public. AEDs are life-saving devices used during sudden cardiac arrest to shock the victim’s heard back to normal rhythm.

For the second time in less than a year, the iconic WindMill Restaurant on Ocean Boulevard has a new set of blades.

A hot dog wagon full of TURKEYS! A big thank you to WindMill Hot Dogs for donating 54 Turkeys and for being a partner in the fight against childhood hunger in our community. This donation will help local families enjoy a nice Thanksgiving at home.

I could develop cologne from the amazing aroma of WindMill hot dogs that are beginning their next 50 years of joyous and wondrous consumption. Driving down Route 36 for this interview and photo session, I kept thinking questions about food and hot dogs and surmised much of our time together would be food driven. Did I ever dial a wrong number and yes, never assume. Steven Levine and his sister Rena Levine Levy sat down with me in back of the restaurant by a window overlooking the nearby Atlantic Ocean. We're having a party -- on top of the Windmill hot dog stand. Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes will perform 3 p.m. Friday, May 23 on the roof of the iconic Windmill Restaurant in the West End section of Long Branch to kickoff the Windmill's "10,000 Hot Dogs" fundraiser, the restaurant has announced.
